Test and Measurement
Using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers and signal generators to see what a circuit is really doing.
Measurement is how theory meets reality. Knowing your instruments — and their limitations — is what makes debugging fast. Always think about accuracy, resolution, loading (does the meter change the circuit?) and safety ratings.
Sub-topics (4)
Multimeter
Measure voltage, current, resistance and continuity — and avoid blowing the fuse.
Oscilloscope
See voltage versus time: timebase, volts/div, triggering, probes and bandwidth.
Logic Analyser
Capture many digital signals at once and decode protocols like UART, I2C and SPI.
Function Generator
Produce sine, square, triangle and arbitrary test signals with adjustable frequency, amplitude and offset.
