Servo Motors
A motor with position feedback and a controller that drives it to a commanded position.
Easy
- Hobby servos (SG90, MG996R) take a 50 Hz PWM signal: a pulse of about 1 ms → 0°, 1.5 ms → 90°, 2 ms → 180° (exact limits vary by servo).
- Industrial servos use AC synchronous or BLDC motors with encoders and a servo drive running closed-loop position, speed and current control.
#include <Servo.h>
Servo s;
s.attach(9);
s.write(90); // centre
